Welcome to Credit Armor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our credit repair software and services. By accessing or using Credit Armor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. CROA Consumer Disclosure
As required by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), we provide the following disclosure:
Your Consumer Rights
- You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report yourself, at no cost, by contacting credit bureaus directly
- You may obtain a free copy of your credit report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus at AnnualCreditReport.com
- You have the right to cancel this contract within 3 business days of signing, without penalty
- We cannot guarantee specific results - No credit repair company can legally guarantee to remove accurate negative items from your credit report
- Payment after services rendered - We only charge you after services have been performed, in compliance with CROA
2. Service Description
Credit Armor provides credit repair software and services, including:
- Advanced credit report analysis using automated processing
- Automated dispute letter generation based on FCRA and FDCPA regulations
- Certified mail delivery to credit bureaus via Lob API
- Client management and tracking tools
- 18-point credit report checklist compliance
What We Do NOT Guarantee
Credit Armor cannot and does not guarantee:
- Removal of accurate negative items from your credit report
- Specific increases in your credit score
- Results within a specific timeframe
- That disputes will be successful
Results vary depending on the accuracy of information, credit bureau responses, and individual circumstances.
3. User Responsibilities
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Providing accurate and complete information
Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Submit false or fraudulent information to credit bureaus
- Violate any laws or regulations, including FCRA, FDCPA, or CROA
- Attempt to circumvent security or access controls
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
4. Subscription Plans and Pricing
Available Plans
- Basic Plan: $97/month - Up to 10 disputes per month
- Professional Plan: $197/month - Unlimited disputes
- Enterprise Plan: $497/month - White label + API access
Additional Fees
- Certified Mail: $6.99 per letter (pass-through cost, no markup)
Billing
- Subscriptions billed monthly in advance
- Mail charges billed immediately upon service delivery
- Payment methods: Credit/Debit cards (Stripe) or PayPal
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
5. Cancellation and Refunds
3-Day Right to Cancel (CROA Requirement)
You have the right to cancel within 3 business days of signing up for our services, without any penalty or obligation. To cancel within this period, email cancel@creditarmor.net with your account email and "CANCEL" in the subject line.
After 3-Day Period
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- No refunds for partial months
- Access continues until end of current billing period
- Mail charges are non-refundable once letters are sent

6. Intellectual Property
Credit Armor and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Credit Armor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Data
- You retain ownership of all client data and credit information you upload
- Limited license: You grant us permission to process your data solely to provide services
- Data portability: You may export your data at any time
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
No Legal Advice
Credit Armor provides tools and information for educational purposes only. We do not provide legal advice. Consult with a licensed attorney for legal questions specific to your situation.
Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Data loss due to technical failures (maintain your own backups)
- Third-party service failures (Stripe, PayPal, Lob, Supabase, analysis services)
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Credit Armor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We are not responsible for credit bureau decisions or client credit score changes
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Credit Armor harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Disputes with your clients
9. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@creditarmor.net to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, rather than in court.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Credit Armor is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
For material changes, we will provide notice via:
- Email notification
- In-app notification
- Notice on our website
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- Your payment fails repeatedly
- Required by law
Upon termination:
- Your access to the service will cease immediately
- We will delete your data within 6 months (active) and 3 months (backups)
- You remain liable for any outstanding fees
13. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Credit Armor.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor.
